I hate musicals, but I had to do it.

So last night was my first night back training in two weeks. It could just be not being sick for the first time in a while, but I don't think so. I've noticed that I actually feel prettier when I'm training. That's despite the thicker neck, broader back and rougher hands. I looked at myself this morning and realized I had my BJJ glow back. Yays:)

I have a sordid past in Musical Theatre and I LOVE this show! Great post. And I completely agree with you about being prettier. I totally get it. BJJ brings out my womanly traits.

I'm sure the smell of the gym and the mats are what brought your BJJ glow back! :)

Hear hear! agreed :) I think there's something more beautiful about jiu jitsu women, maybe it's the low maintenance aspects of our personality, our willingness to get dirty and messy and be tomboys when the situation calls for it instead of squealing "Oh, I can't, I'll muss my hair! my nails!" And then when we do clean up, I know we clean up well and look more beautiful than ever because of our confidence and self-carriage.. :)
